Our purpose

Every child deserves to be a whole child

Share A Smile is established to improve the standards of orphans, vulnerable, underprivileged and needy children, giving them a bright future — because we want every child to grow up whole: cared for, educated, healthy and safe.

Our purpose runs through three connected fields of work: child welfare, environmental awareness, and community development — supported by responsive efforts like blood donation drives, medical care, old age support and disaster response whenever our community needs them.

Mission & vision

What guides our work

Our mission

To carry out service programs in child welfare, environmental awareness and community development, meeting our community's everyday and urgent needs with equal care.

Our vision

A society where no child is left behind, neighbourhoods look after their own, and help arrives before it's asked for.

Our values

Dignity over charity, community over hierarchy, and consistency over grand one-off gestures.

Our journey

From an idea to a registered movement

The beginning

A small group decides to act

What began as friends pooling time and resources for children and families around them grew into an organised effort to do more, consistently.

2012

Registered as a Trust

Share A Smile was formally registered (Regd. No. 233/2012), giving structure to years of ground-level work in Hyderabad.

Since then

Programs take shape

Child welfare initiatives, environmental drives, blood donation camps and community development programs became regular fixtures, run by a growing base of volunteers — our SASians.

Today

A community, not just a charity

Share A Smile continues as a volunteer-driven trust in Malkajgiri, Hyderabad — open to anyone willing to lend a hand.

Our people

The volunteers behind Share A Smile

Share A Smile runs on the time and energy of everyday volunteers — our SASians. From organising drives to showing up on the ground, it's their commitment that keeps every program going.
